Now that summer is here, the Annapolis Towne Centre is home to weekly summer events for everyone – whether you’re with family in town or just looking for a place to enjoy the evening. With an array of events to attend like art galleries, live music, and food specials, you’re likely to find an event with just the atmosphere you’re looking for.

Last Friday, the Annapolis Towne Centre kicked off their 10th Annual Summer Concerts with the Dan Haas Band. Hundreds of visitors flooded Towne Centre Boulevard with their blankets and chairs, kids took to the pavement to dance the night away, and other patrons enjoyed a light refreshment in the Wine and Beer Garden. Held every Friday evening until the end of August, this event provides the community with a fun and energetic night for the whole family. Make sure to catch Weird Science playing all of the best sing-along hits straight from the ‘80s this coming Friday.

As part of  Annapolis Arts Week, the Annapolis Towne Centre is also hosting a pop-up community art gallery titled Community19! The opening reception may have been last Friday, but the gallery is open until June 22! Located next to Muse Paintbar, this gallery exhibit includes art from member artists of local non-profit Annapolis Arts Alliance and students from Studio 39. Items include handcrafted jewelry, paintings, home decor pieces, and so much more. Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday 10am-7pm, Friday & Saturday 10am-8pm, and Sunday 11am-6pm. Plan to stop in and check out some great art while it’s here!

To continue the fun, the Annapolis Towne Centre will be bringing back their Summer Movie Nights on Towne Centre Boulevard. First up is Disney’s Mary Poppins Returns! Rain or shine, the first 150 guests get a bag of goodies including popcorn and a poncho in case of weather. The fun doesn’t stop there! Mary Poppins herself will be there at 7 pm for visits and photos. Bring the little ones, come early, and get ready for a night full of magic! Make sure to bring your lawn chairs & blankets. The movie showing location will be next to Target.
